[Request] Transparent background for icon in the dock

Thanks for making Cog! I found about the Cog here

I am wondering if would be a possibility to set the icon background around cog to transparent (instead of white) in the Preferences>Appearance Menu? I could make a transparent version myself and set it on my computer but it will be overwritten every time the app updates

But it’s following the Big Sur style. I suppose I could make it automatically detect older OS and use an icon without a background.
